You can work with me in one of three ways....
1) Engage me to work in your specific team environment -- from a small shop to the largest of enterprises; options for working this way include via email, telephone, face-to-face, or any combination of the three.
I love traveling and working with teams internationally, so if you are somewhere other than the USA don't fret, I can usually get to you as long as my personal safety is not at risk (for example, I unfortunately cannot work with "terrorist states" as defined by the current laws of the USA). 2) Attend a public CSM Workshop or (if you have enough for a group internally) I can come to your location for a private session.
If you request a private workshop, you will normally receive the regular public workshop (not customized for your environment); I usually recommend engaging me either a day before or after the normal CSM workshop in order to address the specific needs in your organization. 3) Telephone (or Instant Messenger or Skype or whatever works for you).
This is a great way to chat when we cannot physically meet face-to-face.
Contracting with me in any form is pretty easy....
Here is the procedure:
You say you want to work with me, we agree on a price, I deliver, and you pay me. I am not the cheapest or lowest cost provider out there. I do deliver some extreme value for what you pay me.
Whatever else needs to be worked out logistically, legally, and via paperwork we can work through. This part of the process should never be considered rocket science or get in the way of us working together.
Let's keep everything fair and up-front in our business relationship and we can work together for a long time to come (well, actually the question of "how long" is totally up to you).
I know from past experience people buy from people who they like working with. If you do not like me, well, then you do not need to work with me. Just remember, the same rule applies from my point of view too. Don't worry, there are only a few people in my past that have not thoroughly enjoyed working with me.
I publicly share my profile from www.linkedin.com because it shows you real people -- some who you may have heard of -- who have recommended my work in the past. You may have noticed I also do not have a list of all the "companies" or other organizations I have worked with. Here is the main reason: I sign non-disclosure agreements with my clients.
And. I honor them.
